What to Bring to Your Bridal Appointment

Wear nude undergarments. A strapless bra or a bra with removable straps gives you the most accurate sense of how each gown will look. If you plan to wear shapewear on your wedding day, bring it to the appointment.

Wear easy-to-remove shoes. You will be stepping in and out of gowns, and many bridal gowns are long. A slip-on shoe saves time and keeps you from stepping on hemlines.

Bring photos of gowns or styles you like. Screenshots from Instagram, Pinterest boards, or magazine clippings all help your stylist understand your taste. You do not need to know exactly what you want, just a general direction.

Bring any accessories you already own, especially shoes with the heel height you plan to wear. This helps you see the full picture when you try on gowns.

Know your budget. Tell your stylist up front what you are comfortable spending. This lets them pull gowns in your range so you never fall in love with something you cannot afford.

Limit your group to three or four people whose opinions you genuinely trust. Too many voices make the decision harder, not easier. Bring the people who know you best and want you to be happy, not the ones who want to project their taste onto you.

We ask that your guests relax and enjoy watching you try on gowns. Our stylists will help you in and out of dresses, so your mom or friends do not need to wrestle with zippers or buttons.

Do not bring outside food or drinks. We have white dresses everywhere and spills are a real risk. We do offer appointment upgrades with charcuterie and mimosas if you want to celebrate.

Do not bring heavy makeup or jewelry. You will be pulling gowns over your head, and makeup transfers easily to white fabric.
