Prom 2027: When to Start Shopping for Your Dress

At Boulevard Prom, new styles start arriving in December and keep coming weekly through March. Shopping early in that window gives you the widest choice of colors, sizes, and designs before favorites start to sell through.

April 1 is our cutoff date for placing a prom order and guaranteeing delivery before prom season. After that date, we cannot promise your dress will arrive in time. If you want a style ordered in a specific color or size, plan to shop by February or early March.

Prom gowns at Boulevard Prom range from $250 to $700 and above, depending on the style and designer. Talk with your family about a budget before you shop, and remember to leave room for shoes, jewelry, and any alterations such as a hem.

Our prom gowns range from size 000 to 26. Every body deserves a dress that fits beautifully, and our stylists can help you find styles with the support and shape you are looking for. Bring the shoes you plan to wear, or ones with a similar heel height, so the length looks right.

Prom appointments at Boulevard Prom are 45 minutes to an hour, which is just the right amount of time to try a range of looks without feeling rushed. Bring one or two people you trust, a few screenshots of styles you like, and an open mind. Many shoppers fall for a style they never expected.
